  • Brantingham Snowmobile Club Safety Course Jan 13th 2018

    A snowmobile safety course sponsored by Brantingham Snowmobile Club Inc. will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 7761 Brantingham Road.
    Lunch will be provided by Brantingham Snomads.

    Pre-registration is preferred and may be done by contacting Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 315-376-5270. Walk-ins are also welcome.

    Youths between the ages of 10 and 13 must take this course to be allowed to operate a snowmobile on lands upon which snowmobiling is allowed while accompanied by within 500 feet of a person who is at least 18 years of age.

    Youths between the ages of 14 and 17 must take this course to be allowed to operate a snowmobile on lands upon which snowmobiling is allowed without being accompanied by a person who is at least 18 years of age.

    Participants must be 10 years of age on or before the day the course ends in order to be eligible to receive a snowmobile safety certificate.
