The New York State Snowmobile Association Annual Educational Forums is coming up in April. This year and next they will be held in Niagara Falls! A great way to get to visit the falls!

The forums are open to any NYSSA member and is family (kid friendly) - Lisa Krug, Owner of Snowmobaby and myself along with assistance of Stephanie Larson and the Hamburg Snowmobile Youth Club are setting up the 'Raising Rider - Family Zone' at the Forums this year. Stephanie is also leading a session focusing on getting youth involved in snowmobile clubs. I would love to see more youth involvement in the sport in general.
Who may attend the Forums? Any interested, current NYSSA member may register. You do not have to be a voting delegate to attend the Friday & Saturday Forum Sessions and additional activities. Cost:
Early Registration has expired but you still have plenty of time –
Regular Registration $80 until 3/31/18
Late Registration $100 until 4/10/18
Youth members 17 and under are FREE for the Forum; $15 if they are voting delegates at the Annual Meeting. They may also enter sleds in the NYSSA Vintage Sled Show and those sleds are eligible for the special “Delegates Class”! Youth must be listed on a family membership along with their parent(s) in order to vote. The family’s member ID is required and will be verified
What does the registration fee include?
Full Forum Registration fee includes the Educational Forum, NYSSA Vendor Expo, Friday Night Social, Vintage Show (entries extra),
Awards Luncheon, Dinner Banquet, and Annual Meeting (be sure to select VOTING or NOT VOTING!).
*Some courses have cost in addition to the Full Forum Registration. See registration form.
Among many other sessions these are some New Sessions that have been added for this year –
Snowmobile Safety Course Instructor Roundtable; Vintage Sled Restoration; You’ve Been elected Club
Secretary/Treasurer; Constant Contact; Quickbooks; Fun Events to make your club money; Building a Youth Program.
The highlight of the Friday night Social is the ever popular costume party. I can’t wait to see what everyone will be dressed as this year! Eric and I went as “Freak 1” and “Freak 2” last year. SuziDoo and her pack of chipmunks won for best costume last year.
